What is your maximum capacity?
The maximum capacity of our indoor space is 299, however that does not leave extra space for a dance floor or other free space. If you intend to include a dance floor in your event, we recommend 275. Additionally, our covered patio seats 25-30 and we have a large green-space adjacent to our barn for tents if additional seating is needed.
Our outdoor ceremony site includes benches that seat 250, however additional chairs may be rented to extend this number as well. The size of our property allows us to provide flexibility. We would love to discuss your space needs and will seek to meet them.
What is your cancellation policy?
If for any reason you should choose to cancel your event, a full refund of your deposit will be issued if you do so 180 days or more before the date of your event. Within 180 days of your event and your deposit will be forfeited.
If you wish to change your date 180 days or more before your event, you may do so one time without additional fee. Additional date changes 180 days or more before your event will incur a $250 rebooking fee.
Date changes within 180 days of the original date booked will be treated as a cancellation. No refund of your deposit will be given and an additional deposit is required to secure a new date.
Cancellations due to extraordinary circumstances will be evaluated on a case by case basis and are subject to approval by StoneBriar Farm.
What is your vendor policy?
Currently, we have an open vendor policy, that is we do not have a list of vendors you must choose from. However, all food and alcohol at your event must be served by licensed and insured vendors. We do require you to submit a full list of your vendors for our approval.
Does your facility have any AV equipment: projectors, speakers, etc.?
We do not currently offer any AV equipment. You are responsible for bringing any speakers, microphones, etc. whether these are rented by you individually or through a DJ.
Note as well, that as a rural venue, we do not currently have Wifi on site.
Can we set up and decorate the day before?
YES! We guarantee time for you to set up and rehearse 6pm-8pm Friday evening. Our staff will set up your tables and chairs.
Do you allow food trucks?
Absolutely, we have plenty of space for food trucks. Let us know what you are thinking and we will work with you to make it happen!
Do you require event insurance?
Yes! The Client is required to purchase Event Insurance of no less than 1 million dollars in coverage for both the Event Date as well as the day of the rehearsal with StoneBriar Farm listed as additionally insured. If alcohol is being served, liquor liability must be included in your policy. Event Insurance can be purchased through the Client’s personal insurance company or StoneBriar Farm can refer to their insurance agent. Proof of Event insurance must be provided 30 days before the Event Date.
